Senior Azure Data Engineer with Power BI

Job Summary (List Format):

- Role: Senior Azure Data Engineer with Power BI
- Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid/Remote)
- Duration: Contract (C2C)
- Total Experience Required: 10-12+ years

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain data solutions using Azure cloud technologies (ADF, Synapse, Pyspark/Python)
- Develop and implement ETL processes for data warehousing
- Create and manage Power BI dashboards and reports
- Understand and document design specifications and source-to-target mappings (STTM)
- Prepare technical specification documents
- Mentor and guide junior team members as needed
- Work flexibly from client office locations when required

Must Have Skills:

- 8-12 years of experience in Data Warehousing and ETL
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF), Synapse, Pyspark/Python
- Proficiency with Power BI development and reporting
- Experience creating and understanding technical and mapping documents
- Ability to mentor junior resources
- Willingness to work in a hybrid/remote model with client office visits
