Overview: We are seeking a Healthcare Revenue Cycle Cash Posting expert with deep functional and operational experience in Provider Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management, specifically cash posting and remittance operations. This role will advise on cash posting operations, technology setup, system configuration, automation, and implementation. The ideal candidate has progressed from hands-on cash posting and reconciliation into cash posting operations leadership, and has partnered with IT teams to design, configure, implement, and successfully launch automated cash posting technology in complex multi-hospital environments. The role is relatively system agnostic, with experience in platforms such as Epic, Cerner, or other healthcare revenue cycle systems considered.

Responsibilities:

• Provide functional expertise and consulting guidance on provider healthcare cash posting and remittance operations.
• Analyze cash posting workflows, challenges, exceptions, and operational gaps and recommend solutions.
• Advise on ERA/EOB remittance posting, reconciliation, and exception management across complex environments.
• Provide expertise in PLB (Provider-Level Balance) segment management and related posting scenarios.
• Advise on bank lockbox, electronic remittance, and paper cash posting processes.
• Support the design, configuration, testing, and implementation of automated cash posting technology.
• Partner with IT and technology teams to translate operational requirements into system workflows and configurations.
• Support go-live planning and execution for cash posting technology implementations.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve cash posting accuracy, efficiency, and reconciliation.
• Provide guidance on complex cash posting scenarios across multiple facilities and systems operating under common tax IDs.
• Work with operations and technology stakeholders to troubleshoot implementation and production issues.
• Develop functional requirements, workflows, process documentation, and recommendations for cash posting solutions.

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience in Provider Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management, specifically cash posting and remittance operations.
• Experience with payer remittance posting, cash reconciliation, and exception management.
• Strong understanding of PLB segments, ERA/EOB processing, lockbox, and paper-cash posting.
• Experience working in multi-system and multi-facility healthcare environments.
• Experience progressing from hands-on cash posting responsibilities into cash posting operations leadership/management.
• Experience partnering with IT teams on the design, configuration, implementation, and optimization of cash posting technology.
• Demonstrated experience supporting or leading the go-live of cash posting technology.
• Strong understanding of healthcare revenue cycle workflows and operational challenges.
• Ability to translate business and operational requirements into functional technology requirements.
• Strong consulting, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience leading cash posting technology implementations across complex multi-hospital environments.
• Experience supporting facilities operating under the same tax ID.
