QA Engineer

Introduction

We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer with strong experience in manual testing. The candidate will be responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining test cases for web and enterprise applications. Should have hands-on experience in functional, regression, and end-to-end testing. Strong knowledge of defect tracking tools like JIRA and basic SQL for data validation is required. Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and API testing using Postman is preferred. Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams are essential.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute manual test cases for web and enterprise applications
• Perform functional, regression, and end-to-end testing
• Utilize defect tracking tools like JIRA for bug reporting and tracking
• Conduct data validation using SQL queries
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and provide testing status updates
• Identify and communicate quality issues and risks
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and new testing tools

Requirements

Required Skills:

• 5-9 years of experience in manual testing
• Strong knowledge of JIRA for defect tracking
• Basic SQL skills for data validation
• Experience in functional, regression, and end-to-end testing
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
• Knowledge of API testing using tools like Postman
