Java / J2EE Developer (JSP / WebSphere / DB2 / MQSeries)

Trigyn's direct government client has an immediate need for Java / J2EE Developer in Albany, NY.

Description:
? Obtain business requirements to develop automated applications which meet business priorities.
? Provide programming duties for tax related applications.
? Develop and mentor staff using various technologies including J2EE, Spring, JSON, JavaScript and JDBC.
? Develop and review detailed documentation for system and program change requirement including detail specifications documents.
? Assist and provide guidance through all phases of the project management life cycle.
? Develop unit test plans based on coding changes and user specifications. Conduct unit testing and debugging of all code changes in the development environment.
? Coordinate the migration of all code changes (programs, procedures, etc.) from development environment into user test environment.
? Assist team members using distributed technologies including Java, DB2, XML and XQuery. Ensure that staff members are properly trained and mentored.
? Provide support, as needed, for defects and issue resolution.
? Ensure that defects and issues are addressed promptly based on priority.
? Facilitate and participate in meetings with ITS and customers.
? Communicate both verbally and in writing, with management and users, ITS management, and team members.

Mandatory Qualifications:
? Is involved with all facets of the software development process, including the research, design, programming, testing and implementation of computer software.
? Candidate is able to work independently, without assistance and provides guidance to others. May have an advanced education.

? 60 months experience with J2EE technologies including EJB, JDBC, JSP and XML.
? 60 months experience with Java programming in an IBM development environment using IDE of IBM's Rational Application Developer (RAD) that are deployed to WebSphere Application Server (WAS).
? 60 months of IBM DB2 experience working with DB2 databases and experience with XML schemas (definition, querying and automated generation).
? 60 months experience in performance tuning applications interacting with databases.
? 36 months of experience in IBM MQSeries
? 60 months experience providing technical design, development, maintenance, and end user support of tax systems.
? 60 months of experience in system analysis and design experience for multi-tiered transactional systems and writing technical design specification documents for multifaceted component-based systems.
