Job Description

They are seeking an experienced engineer to join their dynamic team and contribute to the future of satellite communications. The Role • Develop technical requirements for LEO Constellation User Terminal (UT) antenna technology, including modem integration and architecture. • Evaluate vendor-developed technologies and proposed terminal designs for performance, reliability, and manufacturability. • Lead technical relationships with antenna suppliers, participating in design reviews and validation tests. • Recommend modifications or new UT designs to meet cost, performance, and reliability targets. • Identify and oversee validation tests for system assumptions using antenna and UT prototypes. • Contribute to the development of supporting documentation for the UT Type Approval process. What You'll Need • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field; Master's degree in Engineering is required. • Minimum of 10 years of experience in satellite antenna, terminal, and/or satellite system design. • Proven experience with Electronically Steerable Antenna (ESA) design and modem integration. • Strong foundation in electromagnetism, array antenna architecture, and RFIC selection, beamforming, and manufacturing processes. • Expertise in Ka-band antenna technologies for various applications (land, aeronautical, maritime, fixed). • Familiarity with standardized protocols for antenna control and modem interoperability.
