The Role • Operate specialized heavy equipment, including hostlers, cranes, and loaders, to move shipping containers. • Safely load and unload containers from railcars and trucks. • Maneuver containers and chassis within the intermodal yard. • Conduct pre- and post-operation equipment inspections to ensure safety and functionality. • Collaborate with yard personnel and supervisors to coordinate logistics and tasks. • Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to established protocols. What You'll Need • A valid driver’s license is mandatory. • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks. • Open availability for flexible scheduling, including shifts, weekends, and holidays. • Basic communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team. • Experience operating heavy equipment in a logistics or industrial setting is preferred. • Willingness to undergo background verification, physical, and drug screening.
