The Role • Lead and conduct performance and systems studies to define SoC architecture plans, considering performance, power, and thermal constraints. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware design, verification, software, marketing, and product planning. • Define complex use cases, new workloads (e.g., Gaming, AI), and infer systems requirements. • Deploy simulators, profilers, or hardware to identify performance bottlenecks and justify architectural changes. • Apply computer architecture knowledge of CPUs, GPUs, DSPs, memory systems, and interconnects. • Invent and patent technical solutions for architectural challenges. What You'll Need • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. • 5+ years of experience in Systems Engineering or a related discipline. • Proven experience in computer architecture concepts (CPU, GPU, DSP, interconnects, memory). • Hands-on experience with simulators, performance/power models, and profiling tools. • Proficiency in C/C++ programming and scripting for automation. • Familiarity with operating system principles and hardware/software interaction.
