Join our Transmission & Distribution team as a Senior or Associate Electrical Engineer in 2026 and work on iconic projects that deliver future ready outcomes for communities across Australia.

What You'll Do

• Lead HV primary design for transmission & distribution substations, HV infrastructure, and data centre projects-covering layouts, ratings, sizing, and technical oversight.
• Develop detailed specifications at both project and equipment levels.
• Apply knowledge of power system protection, SCADA systems, transmission lines, underground cables, and earthing design.
• Support high voltage scope for Owner's Engineer and Technical Due Diligence projects.
• Review and verify designs and reports prepared by peers.
• Mentor junior engineers and champion technical excellence.
• Drive Safety in Design and ensure compliance with legislative requirements.
• Collaborate across disciplines-civil, structural, geotechnical, secondary, drafting, and control systems.
• Undertake short term site visits as needed.
• Contribute to proposals and business development initiatives.

About You

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 7-15+ years' post graduate experience in HV/EHV electrical engineering.
• RPEQ/RPEV registration or eligibility.
• Proven engineering consultancy experience.
• Chartered status at Associate level.
• Strong background in substation design, HV infrastructure, cable systems, transmission & distribution utilities, renewable energy projects, and/or data centres.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide clear, robust advice to clients.
• Skilled in proposal and report writing.
