Job Description

The Senior Systems Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining IT systems and infrastructure within a crucial Government department in Brisbane.

The successful candidate will be required to perform the following:

  • High-level experience with PowerShell scripting.
  • High-level experience administering Windows Server and Active Directory environments.
  • High-level experience with Microsoft Entra.
  • Experience administering Microsoft Office 365 services.
  • Experience working within ITIL-modelled Change and Release Management processes in a large enterprise environment.
  • Strong ability to plan, prioritise and manage their own workload, including tracking progress, managing competing priorities and delivering work with limited supervision.
  • High-level experience preparing clear technical documentation.
  • Experience supporting audit response activities and working in line with information management, security or ICT policy requirements.
  • Experience with DevOps practices or tooling.
The Successful Applicant

Highly Desirable to this role are:

  • Experience using Jira or similar workload management tools to plan, track and manage work.
  • Experience with Microsoft System Center Operations Manager.
  • Experience with Microsoft Identity Manager.
  • Experience with GitHub.
  • Experience with Splunk and/or Power BI.
  • Experience with Azure B2C and/or Active Directory Federation Services.
  • Experience with Microsoft Conditional Access and security compliance methodologies.
  • Microsoft certifications in Windows Server administration, identity, cloud or associated Microsoft technologies.
What's on Offer
  • Hourly rate between AUD 80 and AUD 92.50
  • Stable 12 month initial contract
