About Digital Delivery:
Suffolk is building the next generation of Digital Delivery capabilities to transform how buildings are designed, coordinated, and constructed. By combining Building Information Modeling (BIM), data-driven workflows, automation, and emerging technologies, our goal is to create a more connected, efficient, and predictable project delivery process.
As part of this vision, Suffolk Global is establishing a high-performing Digital Delivery team in Bangalore that will partner directly with project teams across the United States. Together, we will develop scalable modeling standards, improve coordination workflows, enhance quality through digital reviews, and create innovative solutions that support some of the most complex construction projects in North America.
This is an opportunity to help build a new capability from the ground up and play a leadership role in defining how Digital Delivery services are delivered globally.
Title: Digital Delivery Lead
Key Responsibilities:
Delivery Leadership:
- Lead execution of Digital Delivery services across multiple concurrent projects.
- Coordinate project assignments, priorities, and workloads across Digital Delivery Engineers and Senior Digital Delivery Engineers.
- Monitor project schedules, deliverables, and resource requirements to ensure successful execution.
- Identify delivery risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies.
- Serve as an escalation point for technical and project delivery challenges.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and mentoring for Digital Delivery team members.
- Support onboarding and development of new staff.
- Conduct regular reviews of work quality and performance.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Support career development planning and technical skill growth across the team.
Quality & Standards Management:
- Ensure compliance with Suffolk Digital Delivery standards, workflows, and governance processes.
- Oversee QA/QC reviews across assigned projects.
- Monitor model quality, coordination performance, and deliverable consistency.
- Drive adoption of standards, templates, content libraries, and best practices.
- Review lessons learned and implement corrective actions where needed.
Technical Oversight:
- Provide technical guidance related to BIM modeling, coordination, constructability analysis, and content development.
- Support resolution of complex technical issues and project challenges.
- Collaborate with Senior Digital Delivery Engineers to maintain standards and technical consistency.
- Ensure proper application of modeling workflows and coordination processes.
Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with U.S.-based project teams, Digital Delivery leadership, and project stakeholders.
- Support project planning and workload forecasting activities.
- Communicate project status, risks, resource needs, and delivery performance.
- Build strong working relationships across project and operational teams.
Operational Excellence:
- Monitor team utilization and workload balancing.
- Support staffing and resource planning activities.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and delivery performance.
- Drive implementation of process improvements and operational best practices.
- Contribute to the growth and scalability of Suffolk Global's Digital Delivery organization.
Required Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
Experience:
- 8-12 years of experience in BIM, Digital Delivery, VDC, architecture, engineering, or construction technology.
- Demonstrated experience leading BIM delivery teams or coordination teams on complex building projects.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities.
Technical Skills:
- Expert-level proficiency in Autodesk Revit.
- Strong experience with BIM coordination and clash detection workflows.
- Deep understanding of BIM standards, model governance, QA/QC processes, and digital delivery best practices.
- Experience with BIM content development, template management, and standards implementation.
- Strong understanding of architectural, structural, and MEP systems.
Leadership Skills:
- Proven ability to lead and develop technical teams.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to balance technical quality with delivery commitments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Navisworks Manage.
- Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) or BIM 360.
- Experience with point cloud and Scan-to-BIM workflows.
- Experience developing BIM standards and enterprise delivery processes.
- Experience supporting global or distributed project teams.
