Job Description

Orchestrate Mortgage and Title Services Pvt. Ltd. is looking for experienced Tax Researchers to join our growing US Mortgage Origination team. If you have hands-on experience in US Property Tax Research/Tax Certificate Process and are looking to advance your career, we'd love to hear from you!

Position Details:


Position: Tax Researcher

Business Unit: Origination

Sub Process: Tax Research

Location: Bangalore

Work Mode: Work from Office

Shift: US Night Shift

Reporting To: Team Leader


Job Summary:


As a Tax Researcher, you will be responsible for reviewing loan files before closing to ensure all tax-related information is accurate and complete. The role involves researching US property tax records, communicating with tax authorities, and updating Tax Certificates with a high level of accuracy. Since this is a quality-critical process, attention to detail and accuracy are essential.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Review, analyze, and verify loan files before closing.
  • Research US Property Tax information using county/state websites and public records.
  • Obtain tax information through emails, phone calls, and other official communication channels.
  • Update Tax Certificates accurately and ensure error-free processing.
  • Track and communicate the status of assigned work.
  • Stay updated with client guidelines and process changes.
  • Achieve quality standards of 99.99% accuracy.
  • Complete a minimum of 10 Tax Certificate reviews per day.


Required Experience & Knowledge:


  • Experience in US Mortgage Tax Research/Tax Certificate Process.
  • Strong understanding of the US Mortgage Industry.
  • Knowledge of US Property Tax Research and Tax Procurement.
  • Familiarity with US Property Tax terminology.
  • Understanding of State and County Tax processes.
  • Experience in obtaining tax information from Tax Offices and Assessors.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively.

Educational Qualification:


  • Bachelor's Degree.


Additional Requirements:


  • Willing to work in US Night Shifts.
  • Willing to work on weekends and US holidays, if required.
