Home Instead Exeter & East Devon is looking for an ambitious and experienced Live-in Care Manager to lead, develop and grow our live-in care service.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who combines a real passion for outstanding care with the confidence, energy and commercial drive to build relationships, generate opportunities and grow a successful live-in service.
You will take ownership of the live-in journey from enquiry through to consultation, matching, care delivery and reviews, while developing the referral relationships and Care Professional pipeline needed to grow the service.
What you’ll be doing
Growing our live-in care client base across Exeter and East Devon
Building strong referral relationships with hospitals, GPs, occupational therapists, solicitors, care homes and community organisations
Developing and converting a strong pipeline of new live-in care opportunities
Conducting client consultations, reviews and quality assurance visits
Creating and maintaining high-quality person-centred care plans
Recruiting, supporting and retaining excellent live-in Care Professionals
Carefully matching clients and Care Professionals
Overseeing live-in scheduling and continuity of care
Working closely with our Registered Manager, Scheduling and Recruitment teams
Monitoring growth, revenue and conversion against agreed targets
Maintaining excellent quality, compliance and client experience
Participating in the on-call rota as required
Who we’re looking for
You may already work in live-in care, home care, care management or a client-facing care role.
We are particularly interested in someone who:
Has experience within the care sector, ideally including live-in care
Holds a Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification or equivalent
Understands care planning, medication, quality and compliance
Is confident building relationships with clients, families and professionals
Enjoys networking and developing new opportunities
Is commercially aware and comfortable working towards growth targets
Is organised, self-motivated and resilient
Has a genuine passion for helping people remain independent in their own homes
