Job Description

Job Number 9650 Standard Job Description Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains solutions for the integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems and/or systems. Synthesizes customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints. Establishes functional and technical specifications and standards, solves hardware/software interface problems, defines input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system or subsystem.

Reviews, evaluates and derives requirements for testability, develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for complete systems and/or subsystems. Coordinates subsystem and/or system testing activities with programs and other organizations. Performs analysis of test results and prepares comprehensive subsystem and/or system level evaluation reports which verify and validate system performance.

Writes discrepancy reports and performs integration regression testing to verify/validate incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems and systems.

Basic Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) or related discipline or equivalent professional experience • Experience in hardware lab testing • Minimum of 5+ years work experience in any of the following: Systems Development, or Systems Integration and Test, or Systems Production Testing • Experience in technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, and formal system development/qualification/certification

Desired Skills • Demonstrated knowledge of Systems Engineering V • Experience missile systems • Experience defining Test Approaches and Test Equipment requirements • Experience with all aspects of Environmental Qualification Testing • Design a system verification process that is performed to well-constructed I&T Plans • Familiarity with defining security plans • Demonstrated knowledge of subsystem HW/SW capabilities • Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot problems and coordinate other integration participants for I&T program efficiency • Deliver effective customer presentations that include performance results, schedule status, and corrective action details • Verify that test data is recorded and cataloged appropriately • Generate concise but thorough test reports purpose-built for use in V&V events • Experience in qualification testing per MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, and MIL-STD environments Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00 At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.

  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays.

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
