we are a Tier 1 vendor for the City and County of San Francisco for Cloud Services, Staffing Services and Training Services. For this multi-year opportunity with a diverse set of needs to address, we are currently focusing on establishing partnerships with individuals as well as companies who can help us enhance our overall service portfolio, cut lead times, and ultimately help us deliver successfully. We currently hold sizable Government accounts in the San Francisco bay area including City and County of San Francisco, San Mateo County, and Santa Clara County.

Roles/Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective).
  • Ensure the team maintains focus on delivering high priority backlog items each sprint.
  • Support the Product Owner with backlog refinement and maintaining a clear product backlog.
  • Guide the team in achieving Definition of Done for all work items.
  • Coach and mentor team members on Agile/Scrum best practices and foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and collaboration
  • Shield the team from external interruptions to maintain sprint focus.
  • Foster an environment of collaboration, accountability, and transparency.
  • Promote continuous improvement through retrospectives and feedback loops.
  • Identify, track, and remove blockers affecting team delivery.
  • Escalate risks and dependencies when necessary.
  • Encourage proactive problem solving and conflict resolution.
  • Partner with Product Owners, stakeholders, and leadership to ensure alignment.
  • Facilitate communication across teams when working in scaled Agile environments.
  • Ensure the team has the tools and support needed (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps).
  • Track and report on team performance metrics (velocity, burndown charts, cycle time).
  • Use data and metrics to support transparency and informed decision making.
  • Maintain visibility of team progress for internal and external stakeholders.

Mandatory Skills:

  1. Strong experience understanding and implementing Agile values, principles, and practices (i.e., Kanban, Scrum) based on Team's maturity. -7 years
  2. Strong hands on experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and SharePoint. -7 years
  3. Experience with JIRA to create/enhance dashboards, monitor progress of sprint/work flow, and providing statuses in timely manner. -7 years
  4. Demonstrated experience working on multiple priorities and/or projects simultaneously without impact to quality of work. -7 years
  5. Experience working with stakeholders for backlog item prioritization, grooming, and understanding of epic/stories/tasks -7 years
  6. Experience with work breakdown and estimation, sprint planning, monitoring progress and removing impediments to deliver solutions for business needs. -7 years
  7. Strong experience using facilitation and communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences. -5 years
  8. Strong experience using risk and business impact analysis and reporting skills. -7 years
  9. Experience in gaining buy-in and support from stakeholders -4 years
  10. Experience managing, maintaining, and analyzing data to derive meaningful and actionable insights about the portfolio. -4 years
  11. Demonstrated experience using effective leadership, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills. -4 years
  12. Demonstrated experience working with planning just enough, just in time to START moving forward. -4 years
  13. Certified Agile Scrum Master or Kanban Flow Master -5 years
  14. Experience with Program Increment (PI) planning and tracking dependencies across functional teams. -3 years
  15. Demonstrated experience on the technical side of the application development cycle to support the agile teams in driving enhancements and projects. -7 years

Desirable Skills:

  1. Certified SPC or SAFe agilist in SAFe transformation- 3 years
  2. Certified Project Manager- 5 years
