PCB Layout Engineer - Berkshire - up to £42,000 + Benefits - REF 2037

I am currently recruiting a PCB Layout Engineer to work for a leading engineering organisation based in Berkshire. Salary up to £42,000 + Benefits.

They work on cutting-edge projects that push the boundaries of technology, being able to deliver innovative solutions to industry problems and challenges many of their competitors are unable to solve. As a result, they have some of the most highly capable engineers within their business.

To support the growth of the business and in line with current workload they have the need to appoint another PCB Layout Engineer on a permanent basis.

In this role as a PCB Layout Engineer, you will be responsible for creating complicated and technically advanced PCB layouts in Altium. You will be optimising components to ensure best performance, ease of manufacture and assembly as well as ensuring there is a high degree of reliability. Most of the designs are more than 6 layers and when routing you will be involved with digital systems, mixed signal, power electronics and flex-rigid PCB technologies.

Ideal Requirements:

• At least 5 years' experience as a PCB Layout Engineer, PCB Designer, PCB Design Engineer or similar
• Experience with Altium
• Experience with multi-layer PCB designs and layouts
• Experience with flex-rigid PCBs.
