Job Title: MF Utilities Developer
Location: Remote
Duration: Long term Contract
 
Job Description:
We are looking for a Mainframe Utilities Developer / Tool Administrator to manage and support mainframe development tools and utilities. The role involves installation, configuration, administration, troubleshooting, and user support for mainframe development environments.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer and support BMC DevX Code Pipeline / ISPW.
  • Manage and support BMC Topaz Workbench.
  • Support IBM IDz v17 (IBM Developer for z/OS).
  • Administer and maintain CA-JCLCHECK.
  • Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain mainframe tools.
  • Troubleshoot tool-related issues and provide technical support to developers.
  • Manage user access, configurations, and tool environments.
  • Coordinate with development, system programming, and infrastructure teams.
  • Perform testing and validation after tool upgrades or configuration changes.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and procedures.
  • Support production issues and participate in problem resolution.
 
Required Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of Mainframe z/OS environments.
  • Experience with BMC ISPW / DevX Code Pipeline.
  • Experience with BMC Topaz Workbench.
  • Knowledge of IBM IDz v17.
  • Experience with CA-JCLCHECK.
  • Good understanding of JCL, JES2, TSO/ISPF, and mainframe utilities.
  • Good troubleshooting and communication skills.
