Senior Piping Designer - Remote

Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Senior Piping Designer for a Remote position with a Global Professional Services Firm. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This role is an opportunity to work on state-of-the-art industrial and pharmaceutical facility projects. The successful candidate will be accountable for the schedule and technical quality of engineering tasks, executing piping engineering design, and mentoring other professionals within a multi-discipline, highly interactive team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Be accountable for the schedule and technical quality of assigned routine engineering tasks
• Effectively recognize and communicate scope and design changes promptly
• Review vendor drawings, execute piping engineering design, and develop design estimates
• Utilize technical expertise to mentor other professionals

Requirements:

• Associate's degree (AA) in Computer Aided Drafting and Design or similar technical degree
• At least 15 years of piping design experience
• Advanced working knowledge of piping design in 2D/3D modeling software such as Hexagon Smartplant S3D, Autodesk Plant 3D

• Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base

Pay range: up to $115.00 per hour
