The Role • Operate specialized heavy equipment (hostlers, cranes, top loaders, side loaders) to move shipping containers. • Load and unload containers from railcars and trucks within the intermodal yard. • Conduct pre- and post-operation equipment inspections to ensure safety and functionality. • Coordinate container movements and tasks with yard personnel and supervisors. • Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to established protocols and procedures. • Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and climbing, in various weather conditions. What You'll Need • A valid driver's license is required for consideration. • Experience operating heavy equipment in a logistics or industrial setting is preferred. • Strong commitment to safety and meticulous attention to detail. • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50lbs and climbing. • Open availability for flexible scheduling, including all shifts, weekends, and holidays. • Basic communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
