Were looking for a Field Service & Commissioning Engineer to install, commission, and support high-spec OEM process equipment at customer sites across the UK and worldwide. This is a dynamic, customer-facing role combining electrical fault finding, system validation, and technical support with factory-based testing and continuous improvement work.
What youll be doing:
Installing and commissioning specialist process equipment on customer sitesPerforming planned and reactive service, diagnostics, and repairsFault finding on control panels, field wiring, PLC-controlled systems and integrated machinerySupporting FAT and SAT activitiesCalibrating instrumentation and validating system performanceProviding on-site technical support and operator trainingFeeding back technical insights to support ongoing design improvements
What were looking for:
Strong electrical background (HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent experience)Experience with industrial control systems (Siemens, Allen-Bradley etc.)Confident fault finding on single/three-phase systems and control circuitsAbility to read electrical schematics and P&IDsExperience in field-based, customer-facing engineering rolesComfortable with UK and international travel (1012 trips per year)
When not travelling, you'll be expected to work onsite in Southampton, supporting the build, test and validation of these systems.
