Senior Teamcenter PLM Technical Consultant / Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Teamcenter PLM Technical Consultant / Developer with 7 to 12 years of hands-on experience in implementing, configuring, and customizing Siemens Teamcenter PLM systems. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of PLM architectures and have a proven track record of delivering robust technical solutions.

Position Requirement: Due to the nature of our projects, ship is strictly required.

Key Responsibilities

• Customization & Configuration: Design, develop, and configure Teamcenter solutions using BMIDE, ITK, SOA, Rich Client, and Active Workspace (AWC) customization.

• Architecture & Design: Provide technical leadership in defining Teamcenter PLM architecture, data migration strategies, and system integration patterns.

• System Integration: Develop and maintain interfaces between Teamcenter and external systems (such as ERP, CAD tools, and MES).

• Upgrades & Support: Lead Teamcenter upgrade projects, apply patches, perform performance tuning, and troubleshoot complex system issues.

• Collaboration: Partner with business analysts and functional teams to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical designs.

Technical Skills & Qualifications

Required Core Experience:

• 7–12 years of dedicated technical experience with Siemens Teamcenter PLM.

• Strong programming skills in C/C++, Java, and JavaScript (specifically for Active Workspace customization).

• Comprehensive knowledge of BMIDE (Business Modeler IDE), Extension points, and workflows.

• Hands-on experience with Teamcenter ITK (Integration Toolkit) and SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) programming.

• Deep understanding of Active Workspace Client (AWC) configuration, tiling, and UI customization.

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with Teamcenter Data Migration tools (e.g., PLM XML, IPS Upload).

• Solid understanding of database management (Oracle or SQL Server) related to Teamcenter.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or lead a technical track.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
