Job Title: Director/Senior Manager of Sales
Location: California (Remote)

Job Summary:
Client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Sales to lead and execute the company’s sales strategy. As a quota-carrying sales leader, you will be responsible for driving business growth through both hunting new accounts. The Director of Sales will work closely with the extended pre-sales, business development, and product teams to achieve company sales goals. This role requires a strategic leader with a proven track record in driving new logo hunting and fostering long-term customer relationships.
Candidates must have a demonstrated and verifiable track record of independently closing business in following digital services domains — IT Services, Artificial Intelligence (AI/ML), Agentic AI, Cloud Transformation, Big Data, Analytics, and Managed Services. This includes proven experience in end-to-end deal ownership — from prospecting and solution positioning to commercial negotiation and contract closure. Candidates without direct revenue closure experience in any of these domains will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies that align with company goals and revenue targets.
  • Quota Carrying: Own and deliver on sales quotas, with a focus on acquiring new customers and expanding existing accounts.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market analysis to stay abreast of industry trends, competitive activities, and evolving customer needs, identifying new business opportunities.
  • Performance Monitoring: Regularly track and report his/her sales performance, providing key insights and updates to CXO’s.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Product Development, Pre-sales, and Business Development) to ensure sales strategies align with the company's overarching goals.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements in all sales activities.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. MBA or an advanced degree is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10+ years in sales for primarily within software services or technology companies, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Skills:
  • Strong business development expertise, with experience in negotiating deals and managing client relationships.
  • Verifiable track record of independently closing business in following digital services domains — IT Services, Artificial Intelligence (AI/ML), Agentic AI, Cloud Transformation, Big Data, Analytics, and Managed Services
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
