Data Center Technician

Join a team supporting the launch of a secure Microsoft data center that powers critical government operations. This role focuses on hands-on installation, cabling, and troubleshooting of infrastructure inside a highly controlled, top-secret environment.
Responsibilities:

• Install and configure racks, servers, switches, and related hardware
• Perform structured cabling, including fiber optic installations
• Troubleshoot hardware and connectivity issues using standard procedures
• Execute startup and shutdown processes following defined checklists
• Conduct quality checks to ensure proper grounding, labeling, and cabling
• Decommission and upgrade hardware components as needed

Must Have:

• Active Top Secret clearance
• Previous data center experience
• Fiber optic cabling experience
• Basic hardware troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity with Windows and Microsoft Office tools

Nice to Have:

• Data center maintenance experience
• Infrastructure support background

You will be working onsite in a secure facility with strict compliance requirements. Personal devices are not permitted inside the work area.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
