Cloud Platform Technical Lead / AWS / SaaS

A growing team in the life sciences and pharmaceutical space is building out a cloud platform from the ground up and they are looking for a Senior Cloud Platform Architect in the Greater Boston area 3 days per week onsite.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you will own and design the buildout of AWS infrastructure using tools like Python, GitHub, CI/CD Pipelines, and Terraform. You will be defining how the platform is built, deployed, and scaled, while setting the standard for how engineering teams ship software.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years in cloud engineering, DevOps, or
• Strong background designing and building AWS environments from the ground up
• Proficiency in Python for infrastructure, tooling, and automation
• Experience working with data-intensive systems, pipelines, or platforms
• Familiarity with APIs, and cloud native system design
• Hands on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation)
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines (GitHub)

Desired Skills & Experience

• Exposure to scientific data, life sciences, or lab systems
• Experience supporting AI/ML or data platforms
• Familiarity with Kubernetes or container orchestration
