Location: Alpharetta, GA (100% On-site)

Pay Rate: $52.00/hr On W2

Role Summary
Seeking a 5+ years experienced Senior QA Test Engineer / SDET for a 100% on-site role in Alpharetta, GA (H1B/Visa dependent profiles accepted). The ideal candidate will possess deep hands-on expertise in automated UI testing using Playwright and Java Selenium, alongside strong API Automation and SDET practices within Agile environments. Responsibilities center on designing scalable test automation frameworks, executing regression test suites, testing web/embedded hardware software interfaces, executing API testing, and partnering closely with cross-functional development teams.

Key Responsibilities
* Automation Framework Engineering: Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable automated test frameworks using Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript or Java/Python) and Java Selenium.
* API & Service Testing: Develop and execute automated API test scripts (REST Assured, Postman, or HTTP client libraries) for backend service and integration validation.
* Embedded Hardware & Web Interface QA: Perform technical end-to-end automation and functional testing for embedded hardware UI applications, software interfaces, and system integrations.
* SDLC & Agile Collaboration: Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps), track defects, and participate actively in Agile ceremonies.
* Test Strategy & Quality Assurance: Author detailed test plans, write comprehensive test cases, perform root cause analysis on failures, and generate quality metrics for technical leads.

Required Skills
* Core Test Automation Stack: 5+ Years Automation Testing & SDET Experience
* Framework Expertise: Playwright Automation, Java Selenium WebDriver
* API Testing & Protocols: REST API Automation, REST Assured, Postman, JSON/XML
* Programming & Scripting: Java, JavaScript / TypeScript, Python
* DevOps & Agile: CI/CD Integration (Jenkins/GitHub Actions), Git Version Control, JIRA, Agile/Scrum Methodologies

Preferred Qualifications
* ISTQB Certified Tester (Foundation or Advanced Level).
* Hands-on experience with embedded hardware/IoT software testing or hardware interface validation.
