About the Job- We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer Snowflake to join one of our enterprise client engagements. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Apache Spark, PySpark, AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Snowflake, BigQuery, Azure Data Factory, Matillion, dbt, Git, CI/CD, Informatica along with experience working in fast-paced enterprise environments.

Snowflake Technologies & Skills

Experience with one or more of the following is highly valued:

• Snowflake: Snowflake Architecture, Data Warehousing, Data Modeling, Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, Time Travel, Zero-Copy Cloning, Data Sharing and Role-Based Access Control.
• Data Engineering: SQL, ETL/ELT, Data Pipelines, Performance Optimization and Data Integration.
• Cloud: AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform.
• Data & DevOps Tools: Informatica, Matillion, dbt, Talend, Fivetran, Git, CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Programming: Python, Java, Scala or other programming languages.

 

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Snowflake data warehouse solutions.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, data models, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data integration processes.
• Implement Snowflake features including Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, Time Travel, cloning, data sharing, and security controls.
• Support cloud-based data platforms and integrations across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Perform performance tuning, troubleshooting, data migration, and production support.
• Collaborate with data engineers, architects, developers, analysts, and business stakeholders.
• Experience with enterprise data environments, Agile/Scrum, Git, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

 

Preferred Certifications

Snowflake certifications are preferred, along with relevant AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform certifications.

 

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field is preferred.
