Senior Project Manager - Major EPC Projects

Are you an experienced Senior Project Manager looking to lead the delivery of a flagship UK energy infrastructure project? We're working with a leading engineering and infrastructure contractor that has secured a major EPC project as part of the UK's drive to modernise critical gas infrastructure and reduce emissions.

This is an opportunity to play a key leadership role on a complex, high-value project involving the construction and commissioning of a new 15MW gas turbine compressor facility.

Reporting to the Project Director, you'll join the Project Leadership Team and take ownership of the safe, successful delivery of the project from construction through commissioning.

The Role As Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the overall delivery of a major EPC project, ensuring safety, programme, quality, commercial performance and client satisfaction remain at the forefront.

Working alongside engineering, commercial, planning and SHEQ teams, you'll coordinate multidisciplinary activities and provide leadership across site operations, subcontractors and key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities<br />Lead the safe delivery of a major EPC infrastructure project.<br />Manage programme, cost, quality and performance against project KPIs.<br />Provide leadership to operational and technical project teams.<br />Coordinate engineering, construction and commissioning activities.<br />Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and supply chain partners.<br />Drive commercial performance, change management and risk mitigation.<br />Lead project meetings and reporting.<br />Ensure compliance with CDM Regulations, industry standards and SHEQ requirements.<br />Oversee subcontractor performance and governance.<br />Support commissioning and handover to operations.About You We're looking for an experienced project leader who has successfully delivered large-scale EPC or heavy engineering projects within regulated industries.

You'll ideally have: 10+ years' experience managing major EPC projects.<br />Proven delivery experience from project start through to completion.<br />Background within gas infrastructure, oil &amp; gas, process plants, power generation, petrochemical, pipelines or other safety-critical industries.<br />Strong commercial understanding, ideally with NEC contracts.<br />Experience leading multidisciplinary teams.<br />Excellent stakeholder management skills.<br />Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations and UK construction health &amp; safety requirements.<br />SMSTS, IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent (preferred).<br />Full UK driving licence.Desirable Experience Applications are particularly welcomed from candidates with experience delivering projects for:
