The Role • Travel to store locations to perform maintenance and service repairs on various commercial food service equipment. • Repair and refurbish equipment including frozen beverage machines, soda fountains, coffee brewers, and gas dispensing equipment. • Conduct preventative maintenance on a range of food service appliances, from ovens to refrigerated cases. • Manage parts inventory on assigned service trucks, conducting regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks. • Work independently and with dispatchers to manage workload, prioritize tasks, and ensure equipment uptime. • Update job status and provide detailed resolution notes through an online work order management system. What You'll Need • High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school or Associate's degree preferred. • 0-2 years of related experience required; 2+ years of experience repairing food service equipment is preferred. • Experience with specific equipment brands like Taylor or FBD is a plus. • Additional experience in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical trades is beneficial. • Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks including grasping, bending, pushing, pulling, and climbing regularly. • Flexibility to travel to multiple locations throughout the day and work overtime when needed.
