Following continued growth, we're looking for an ambitious Recruitment Consultant to develop and grow our National Temporary Engineering Desk.

This isn't just another recruitment role it is an opportunity to take ownership of a desk with huge potential while working alongside an experienced team that has built an outstanding reputation across the UK's precision engineering sector.

The Opportunity

Our permanent recruitment team already partners with hundreds of engineering manufacturers across the UK. As these relationships continue to grow, so does the demand for temporary and contract staffing.

You'll be responsible for developing and managing our temporary division, supporting existing WF Tech clients with requirements including:

• CNC Setter/Operators
• CNC Operators
• Machine Operatives
• Production Operatives
• Assembly Operatives
• Skilled Manufacturing Personnel

With a national remit and a warm client base already in place, you'll have genuine opportunities to build long-term recurring business rather than starting entirely from scratch.

Your Responsibilities

• Build and develop WF Tech's temporary recruitment division.
• Manage the full temporary recruitment lifecycle.
• Source, interview and register engineering candidates.
• Develop relationships with existing WF Tech clients and identify new opportunities.
• Generate new business through proactive sales activity.
• Manage bookings, compliance and candidate availability.
• Grow a profitable temporary desk with recurring weekly revenue.
• Work closely with the permanent recruitment team to maximise opportunities across shared accounts.

What We're Looking For

We're interested in speaking with recruiters who enjoy building relationships and developing business.

Ideally you'll have:

• Previous recruitment experience (temporary recruitment preferred)
• Strong business development skills
• Excellent communication and relationship-building ability
• Self-motivation and a proactive approach
• Good organisational and time management skills
• A desire to build something and make it your own

Engineering recruitment experience would be an advantage, but it isn't essential we can provide the industry knowledge.
