Job Overview

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer with experience in Agentic AI / AI-assisted software engineering to join a high-performing engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Java, AWS, Kubernetes, Kafka/streaming, NoSQL, CI/CD, testing, monitoring, and production support, along with practical experience leveraging AI tools and frameworks to optimize and accelerate software development.

This role requires a strong software engineer who can build secure, scalable, production-grade applications while helping engineering teams adopt AI-assisted development practices across the SDLC.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, debug, test, and maintain secure, high-quality production applications using Java.
• Design and implement scalable backend services and distributed applications.
• Review code written by other developers and provide technical guidance on code quality, security, performance, and maintainability.
• Leverage AI-assisted development and Agentic AI capabilities to accelerate coding, refactoring, testing, debugging, code reviews, and release readiness.
• Help drive adoption of approved AI-assisted engineering practices across development teams.
• Apply AI capabilities to areas such as code optimization, automated testing, root-cause analysis, incident analysis, and SDLC automation.
• Work with AWS, Kubernetes, Kafka/streaming, NoSQL databases, and CI/CD pipelines to build and support production systems.
• Implement and maintain automated testing and quality-validation practices.
• Monitor production applications using tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, or similar observability platforms.
• Participate in application design and technical decisions affecting functionality, architecture, and operational processes.
• Establish and promote secure coding, peer-review, automated testing, and engineering best practices.
• Contribute reusable frameworks, automation, patterns, and engineering standards across teams.
• Serve as a technical SME and actively contribute to the engineering community.
