About the role:
The Systems Analyst will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating analysis and support activities for Custom Off The Shelf (COTS) ICT solutions used to support finance and regulatory functions.
Working closely with business stakeholders, support teams and COTS vendors, you will adhere to service management practices to ensure effective analysis and timely resolution of incidents, problems and requests in alignment with Operational Level Agreements (OLAs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

About you:
Can you demonstrate the following?
- Develops and maintains domain knowledge of finance and/or regulatory business functions and associated processes to support timely resolution of incidents and requests.
- Provides input into solution related problem diagnosis to support problem resolution and supports implementation of preventative or continuous improvement measures as appropriate.
- Highly developed interpersonal and negotiation skills, with an ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships, provide advice on processes and policies, and work effectively with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Adheres to service management practices to ensure alignment with Operational Level Agreements (OLAs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for seamless Incident, Problem, and Request Management.
- Maintains technical knowledge of the supported COTS platform and identifies opportunities for continuous improvement based on platform updates and vendor product roadmap.
- Draft and develop material including the preparation of Cabinet and Cabinet related material, Ministerial and Secretary briefings and meeting papers, agendas, minutes and reports.
Qualifications / Specialist Expertise
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
- Certifications related to IT service management (such as ITIL) and relevant technical certifications is desirable.
- Experience supporting one or more finance and/or regulatory ICT solutions in large organisation.
- Demonstrated experience in working with business stakeholders, support teams and external vendors to analyse and resolve incidents and problems is required.
