Support Worker | Kingston upon Thames, United Kingdom | Hybrid

They are seeking a compassionate Support Worker to join their dedicated team.

The Role

  • Deliver person-centred support to promote wellbeing, independence, and tenancy sustainment for service users with complex needs.
  • Assess referrals, co-produce and review support and risk management plans.
  • Work collaboratively with external agencies to ensure access to health, education, employment, and community resources.
  • Support independent living skills, financial stability, and recovery, while preventing relapse or hospitalisation.
  • Maintain accurate records and uphold organisational policies and procedures.
  • Act as a positive representative, building strong relationships with service users, colleagues, and stakeholders.

What You'll Need

  • A strong commitment to supporting service users in maximising financial independence, including managing arrears and benefit claims.
  • Ability to embed organisational values, policies, and strategies into daily practice.
  • Confidence in building positive relationships with service users, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Strong organisational skills, including maintaining accurate client and financial records.
  • Good understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
  • Willingness to occasionally sleep in the service between shifts.
