Director of Operations & IR

A well-established real estate investment firm is seeking a Director of Investor Relations to lead investor operations and client service efforts. This role partners with senior leadership to oversee communications, reporting, and capital activity while driving process improvements. It offers strong visibility and the opportunity to support growth in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Accountabilities:

Investor Operations Oversight

• Lead core investor processes including onboarding, distributions, and ongoing account maintenance
• Ensure data accuracy, compliance adherence, and consistency across all investor records and reporting
• Review and approve investor-facing deliverables and transactions

Team Leadership & Optimization

• Manage, mentor, and scale a small investor relations team
• Establish efficient workflows, improve processes, and drive operational consistency
• Implement tools and automation to increase productivity and reduce manual effort

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Collaborate with internal teams such as finance, legal, and accounting to support investment activity
• Act as a key point of contact for complex investor matters and resolve escalations
• Support senior leadership with reporting, updates, and strategic initiatives

Background/Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in investor services, fund operations, or related fields
• Prior experience leading and developing teams
• Strong understanding of investor processes, systems, and reporting
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in CRM systems and advanced Excel skills
