.NET Application Architect

An established and growing financial services organization is seeking an Application Architect to join its technology team in Phoenix, AZ. This is a full-time onsite opportunity focused on modernizing and scaling a large custom-built application ecosystem built primarily with C#, .NET Core, Entity Framework, SQL Server, WinForms, and web technologies.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of software development experience
• Strong experience with C# and .NET
• Experience designing application architecture and technical solutions
• Background working with WinForms desktop applications
• Experience building or supporting web applications
• Strong SQL Server experience
• Experience with Entity Framework
• SSRS reporting experience
• Understanding of software design patterns and application modernization
• Experience mentoring developers and guiding technical direction
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience with OAuth and Identity Server
• Experience with document generation platforms
• AI-assisted development experience using tools such as Claude or Copilot
• Prior experience in mortgage, legal, financial services, banking, or lending industries
• Experience modernizing legacy systems
