ServiceNow Architect

Location: Woodlawn, MD |
Work Arrangement: Onsite |
Employment Type: Permanent (Contract)
Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain SSA Public Trust Clearance

Job Summary

We are seeking a ServiceNow Architect to lead platform architecture, solution design, modernization, and enterprise-scale delivery across multiple ServiceNow modules in a federal environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect end-to-end ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, ITOM, ITBM/SPM, CSM, SecOps, GRC, HRSD, HAM, and SAM.
• Lead platform modernization, enhancements, integrations, and technical design reviews.
• Develop ServiceNow architecture standards, roadmaps, and technical recommendations.
• Ensure governance and data integrity across CMDB, HAM, and SAM.
• Design and oversee REST/SOAP and cross-platform integrations.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and architectural guidance to development teams.
• Drive automation and adoption of modern/AI-enabled ServiceNow capabilities.

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development and solution delivery.
• 5+ years of ServiceNow Architect/Solutions Architect experience.
• Bachelor's degree + 7+ years relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• ServiceNow CSA and CAD certifications required.
• Strong experience with ServiceNow architecture, integrations, ITSM/ITOM, CMDB, HAM, and SAM.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain SSA Public Trust Clearance.
• Must be available to work onsite in Woodlawn, MD.

Preferred Skills

• Strong JavaScript and ServiceNow automation experience.
• REST/SOAP, Business Rules, Workflows, Workspaces, Portals, and Identification Rules.
• SAML, Active Directory, and LDAP.
• ServiceNow CIS certifications and ITIL v4 Foundation.
• Experience with federal or highly regulated environments.
