Social Pedagogue or Social Worker (m/f/d) | Traunstein, Germany | On-site We are seeking a dedicated Social Pedagogue or Social Worker to join a leading national healthcare group focused on psychosomatic and internationally recognized psychiatric care. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the establishment of a new child and adolescent psychiatry unit in Vogtareuth, a modern facility dedicated to providing high-quality treatment and research. The Role • Provide psychosocial counseling and support for children and adolescents with psychiatric conditions, focusing on their needs and strengths. • Offer guidance on social law matters, assisting patients with relevant applications and procedures. • Plan and secure comprehensive aftercare, including social, medical-therapeutic, and personal reintegration aspects. • Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, psychologists, and other therapists, to ensure holistic patient care. • Actively participate in the development and shaping of a new child and adolescent psychiatry unit. What You'll Need • A completed degree in Social Work or Social Pedagogy (Diplom, B.A., or M.A.). • Ideally, prior experience in child and adolescent psychiatry. • Strong social competence and empathy when working with individuals facing challenging health conditions. • Demonstrated resilience and emotional stability, particularly in demanding situations. • Profound knowledge of social law, specifically SGB VIII. • A team-oriented approach, combined with the ability to work independently and responsibly.
