You'll work across modern cloud platforms, collaborating with teams to deliver high-performing, reliable data products while continuously improving the way we operate.

This is a hands on role where you'll shape architecture, contribute to solution design, and bring new ideas to life in a fast paced, agile environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own and support production systems, proactively resolving issues and improving operational processes
  • Drive continuous improvement through automation, standardisation and adoption of best practices
About You

While we are big on development and offer on-the-job training, we want to set you up for success.

You're a passionate Data Engineer who thrives in a fast-moving, high-pressure environment and enjoys solving complex problems. You bring a strong sense of ownership, curiosity and a mindset focused on continuous improvement. You're adaptable, team oriented and always looking for better ways to build, scale and innovate.

You're also excited by emerging technologies, particularly AI, and are keen to contribute to evolving frameworks that push the boundaries of what data can do.

Requirements
  • Strong experience with AWS data services (e.g. MSK, AWS Glue, Lambda Functions, CloudWatch, Athena, Fargate, S3, EMR, etc.)
  • Advanced SQL skills across relational and NoSQL systems
  • Proven experience with Python, Spark or PySpark
  • Experience working with Databricks and modern Lakehouse frameworks
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, deployment practices and tools such as GitHub
Nice to Have
