Cybersecurity Boundary Defense Technical Lead with Security Clearance

Cybersecurity Boundary Defense Technical Lead PKH Enterprises is building a team of talented professionals to support a critical cybersecurity mission for a federal customer. We are currently identifying qualified candidates for this position; however, employment is contingent upon contract award and funding approval.
The Cybersecurity Boundary Defense Technical Lead provides technical leadership for the operation, administration, and enhancement of perimeter defense technologies supporting a federal defense client’s cybersecurity mission. This role ensures the effectiveness of enterprise defensive capabilities protecting government networks and systems from cyber threats. Work Location

• Primary duty location: Scott Air Force Base, Illinois
• May support enterprise network enclaves and remote mission locations. Security Clearance
• Active Secret clearance required.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead administration of boundary defense technologies.
• Manage enterprise firewall, web proxy, and web application firewall (WAF) environments.
• Review, approve, and implement security policy changes.
• Monitor defensive systems and identify improvement opportunities.
• Support cyber incident response activities and investigations.
• Provide technical direction to boundary defense administrators.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend security enhancements.
• Support Zero Trust and cloud security initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of IA or Cybersecurity experience.
• Minimum 4 years applying DoD cybersecurity policies.
• Demonstrated experience with: o Firewalls o Web proxies o Web Application Firewalls (WAF) o Boundary protection technologies o Enterprise network security architecture o Cloud security solutions o Cybersecurity metrics and reporting.
