Business Analyst - Clinical Applications

We are seeking a Business Analyst II with strong technical and business analysis experience to support IT systems, clinical applications, and projects in a healthcare environment. This role will partner with business and technical teams to gather requirements, support implementations, troubleshoot issues, and ensure successful delivery of business solutions.

• 6-month contract, potential to convert to perm.
• ~20% onsite in Brooklyn, NY

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements.
• Support application implementations, integrations, and production support.
• Act as the liaison between business stakeholders, development teams, and third-party vendors.
• Create functional specifications, workflows, test plans, and project documentation.
• Track project milestones, risks, issues, and change requests.
• Assist with troubleshooting application, network, and database-related issues.
• Produce status reports and communicate project progress to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of Business Analyst or IT Systems Analyst experience.
• Experience supporting client-server and web-based applications, preferably in healthcare.
• Knowledge of networking, security, and SQL/MySQL databases.
• Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Bash, or similar) is a plus.
• Excellent communication, analytical, troubleshooting, and customer service skills.
• Preferred certifications: A+, Network+, Security+, MCSA, or ITIL.
