About the role

The Business Analyst plays a pivotal role in driving continuous improvement and innovation across Perth Airport. Working at the intersection of business and technology, you will analyse current processes, uncover opportunities for improvement, and translate business needs into effective solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to be embedded in one of Western Australia's largest infrastructure and construction projects, overseeing a team of analysts, ensuring high-quality insights and outcomes across critical projects. Collaborating with diverse stakeholders, you'll deliver data-driven initiatives that improve efficiency, enhance decision-making, and contribute to better business outcomes. Some of the key responsibilities for this role include:
  • Working with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into clear and detailed IT requirements.
  • Establish and maintain a Business Analysis community of practice promoting innovation, frameworks, templates, and best practices
  • Collaborate with project managers, business stakeholders, software developers, integration developers, and system architects to select, configure or develop IT solutions.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to align IT solutions with business goals.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress, risks, and changes.
  • Ensure consistent documentation standards across all IT projects.
About you
  • We are looking for an innovative thinker who works collaboratively in a team environment and brings fresh ideas to the organisation.
  • You hold a Certification of Capability in Business Analysis (CCBA ) or Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP ).
  • You can work independently with strong analytical, problem-solving, creative, and critical-thinking skills.
  • You are an adept communicator, negotiator, and influencer, capable of managing communication strategies with diverse stakeholders.
  • You have hands-on experience with Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies.
  • You have demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst.
  • You are experienced in using AI tools to aid process modelling, data analysis, and reporting.
  • You work effectively within teams to address business challenges as well as work independently when required.
