Oracle Cloud Manufacturing & Costing Consultant

Travel: Once a month to Canada if needed (Reiimbursed)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Manufacturing & Costing Consultant to support the implementation, configuration, and optimization of Oracle Cloud Manufacturing and Costing solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong functional expertise across manufacturing processes, product costing, inventory, supply chain, and integration with other Oracle Cloud modules.

The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, conduct testing, and support production deployments. This role requires travel to Canada once a month.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead functional implementation and support activities for Oracle Cloud Manufacturing and Costing.
• Configure and support Oracle Cloud Manufacturing modules, including:
  • Work Definition
  • Work Orders
  • Work Execution
  • Manufacturing Plant Parameters
  • Production Scheduling
  • Material Transactions
• Configure and support Oracle Cost Management / Cost Accounting processes.
• Work with Standard Cost, Actual Cost, Average Cost, and Cost Organization setups.
• Configure and support Cost Books, Cost Elements, Cost Rollups, and Cost Profiles.
• Analyze manufacturing and costing requirements and translate business needs into Oracle Cloud solutions.
• Support integration between Manufacturing, Costing, Inventory, Procurement, Order Management, and General Ledger.
• Participate in Fit-to-Standard workshops and Oracle Cloud implementation activities.
• Prepare functional specifications, process flows, configuration documents, and test scripts.
• Perform unit testing, SIT, UAT, regression testing, and production validation.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing, inventory, costing, and accounting-related issues.
• Support data migration and validation activities related to manufacturing and costing master data.
• Work with technical teams on integrations, reports, interfaces, and extensions.
• Provide post-production support and resolve functional issues.
• Collaborate with business users and stakeholders across Canada and other locations.
• Travel to Canada approximately once per month for workshops, meetings, testing, or other project activities.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of experience in Oracle ERP / Oracle Cloud Applications.
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Manufacturing.
• Strong functional experience with Oracle Cloud Cost Management / Cost Accounting.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud Inventory and related Supply Chain modules.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes such as:
  • Discrete Manufacturing
  • Work Orders
  • Bills of Material
  • Work Definitions
  • Material Issue/Return
  • Resource Transactions
  • Production Execution
• Strong understanding of product costing and cost accounting.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud implementation methodologies, preferably Oracle AIM / Oracle Unified Method / Oracle Activate.
• Experience with requirements gathering, configuration, testing, and production support.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work independently with business and technical teams.
