The OpportunityAs a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you'll play a key role in the design, validation and development of advanced electro-mechanical systems, working across the full product lifecycle from concept through to production.
You'll join a collaborative multidisciplinary R&D environment where innovation, technical excellence and continuous improvement are at the heart of everything they do.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of mechanical sub-assemblies and precision mechanisms
• Define mechanical performance specifications from system-level requirements
• Carry out design calculations, validation activities and engineering analysis
• Support prototype development, testing and introduction into manufacturing
• Collaborate closely with electronics, software, manufacturing and operations teams
• Ensure designs meet quality, cost, performance and reliability objectives

About You - Skills & Experience

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• 5+ years experience in mechanical design and product development
• Proven experience delivering products through the full design lifecycle
• Strong understanding of precision engineering, mechanisms and manufacturing processes
• Knowledge of drives, controls and electro-mechanical systems
