Security Engineer

Job Title: Security Engineer 
Location:  Atlanta, GA / Onsite
Duration: 6 months
Rate: $65/c2c or $57/w2

Key Responsibilities:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Security Engineer to join our team. In this role, the individual will be responsible for driving security remediation efforts, 
resolving security issues, and identifying security solutions for identified gaps. The individual will work closely with risk and control partners, 
engineering and operations teams to embed security best practices across the software development lifecycle and ensure our systems, networks, and data are protected.

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Foundational knowledge of blockchain concepts (e.g., consensus mechanisms, smart contracts, tokens, cryptography).
• Familiarity with at least one blockchain platform (e.g., Ethereum, Hyperledger, Solana, Polygon).
• Experience with programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Solidity is a plus.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and basic integration patterns.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and DevOps practices.
• Experience with version control (Git) and collaborative development tools.
• Participation in blockchain hackathons, open-source projects, or relevant coursework.
• Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CRISC etc.
