Prominent has a long term W2 contract opportunity for a data governance professional.  We are needing someone with 5+ years in Data Governance, data management, training, change enablement, or enterprise data programs.  As a Data Governance Adoption and Literacy Coordinator, you will establish a functional Data Governance literacy and adoption model by developing role-based competencies, steward onboarding standards, training materials, communications coordination, governance curriculum and practical guidance aligned to the enterprise data strategy.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate pilot implementation across programs
  • Support governance intake workflows and follow-up actions
  • Track checklist compliance, onboarding progress and standards adoption.
  • Support modernization projects with embedded Data Governance guidance
  • Maintain documentation, reporting, meeting notes, and action items tracking.
  • Coordinate with data stewards, business teams, IT and project stakeholders.
Required Skills:
  • Experience with program coordination, governance operations, data management, or business operations.
  • Strong documentation, tracking, and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to coordinate across business and IT stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred skills that stand out on resume
  •  Experience with Health and Human Services, public sector, or large enterprise environments.
  • Experience supporting modernization, reporting, data governance, or standards related initiatives.
  • Familiarity with dashboards, data inventories, business glossaries, metadata, data quality tracking, SQL or data queries.

 Anticipated hourly rate while on contract is in the $60-75/hr range.
