We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer to join a high-performing team supporting enterprise Capital Markets applications. This role is ideal for QA professionals with strong automation expertise, hands-on experience in Selenium, Java, SQL, and a solid understanding of financial market data, index validation, and modern AI-powered testing practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform functional, regression, API, end-to-end, and automation testing for Capital Markets applications.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance automation frameworks using Selenium with Java or Python.
• Validate index methodologies, benchmark indices, market data, reference data, and financial calculations.
• Execute SQL queries to validate data integrity across databases, ETL pipelines, and enterprise data services.
• Leverage AI-powered testing tools and Agentic AI/GenAI assistants to improve test design, automation, defect analysis, and root cause investigation.
• Design and document detailed test plans, test cases, and test strategies based on business and technical requirements.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate closely with Development, Product, Database, and Integration teams.
• Continuously improve QA processes, automation coverage, and testing methodologies.
• Manage QA environments, builds, deployments, and release validation activities.
• Design and implement scalable automation solutions using Selenium, Cucumber, and other modern testing frameworks.
• Effectively communicate testing progress, risks, defects, and quality metrics to stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of software testing and Quality Assurance experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
• Strong programming skills in Java (Python experience is also valued).
• Advanced SQL skills with experience validating enterprise data.
• Experience with Cucumber and automated testing frameworks.
• Experience testing Capital Markets, Financial Services, or FinTech applications.
• Knowledge of Index/Benchmark calculations, Asset Management, or Portfolio Management platforms.
• Experience working with Market Data including Equities, Forex, Fixed Income, or Options is highly preferred.
• Experience with REST API testing and integration testing.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud technologies.
• Knowledge of Jenkins, Linux/UNIX, PL/SQL, and NoSQL databases is a plus.
• Experience supporting enterprise test strategy, integration testing, release validation, and deployment activities.
• Experience evaluating automation technologies and reviewing automation frameworks.
• Exposure to GenAI-powered testing tools is preferred.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Karate, Carina, or similar automation frameworks.
• Experience testing high-volume, low-latency, real-time financial data platforms.
• Experience with AI-assisted Quality Engineering and intelligent test automation.
