Team Overview
The TruOps Digital Experience team within Global Operations is responsible for delivering scalable, integrated solutions across the Salesforce ecosystem that enable efficient, consistent execution of the end-to-end lead-to-service lifecycle. The team partners closely with business, operations, finance, sales support, and technology stakeholders to drive global standardization, governance, automation, and continuous improvement across TransUnion's operating model. This role reports to the Sr Director of Business Operations. This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

Role Overview and Core Responsibilities
  • Govern the portfolio of applications, managed packages, integrations, and third-party solutions that support and extend the Salesforce ecosystem, ensuring alignment with business priorities and operational objectives.
  • Serve as the system of record for application inventory, ownership, business capabilities, vendor relationships, contracts, licensing structures, utilization, costs, lifecycle status, and ecosystem dependencies.
  • Establish and maintain governance processes for onboarding, evaluating, enhancing, renewing, replacing, and retiring applications across the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Partner with business, operations, finance, sales support, procurement, and technology stakeholders to support portfolio planning, roadmap development, investment decisions, and application lifecycle management.
  • Monitor application utilization, adoption, and consumption trends to identify opportunities for optimization, rationalization, and increased business value realization.
  • Maintain visibility into the total cost of ownership (TCO) of the application portfolio, including licensing, consumption-based pricing models, vendor commitments, and ongoing operational costs, enabling informed investment, renewal, and portfolio decisions.
  • Develop business cases and investment recommendations that quantify costs, expected business value, resource requirements, and operational impacts to support funding decisions, portfolio governance, and ecosystem growth initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain capability mappings that connect business processes and outcomes to supporting applications and technologies.
  • Collaborate with enterprise architecture and Salesforce platform teams to maintain awareness of application dependencies, integrations, managed packages, and ecosystem relationships.
  • Coordinate governance activities involving information security, risk management, privacy, legal, and architecture teams to support application and AI-enabled technology reviews, approvals, and compliance requirements.
  • Develop dashboards, reporting, and portfolio insights that provide leadership visibility into application health, utilization, costs, renewals, business ownership, capability coverage, and portfolio optimization opportunities.


Required Knowledge and Experiences
  • 7+ years of experience in application portfolio management, technology governance, Salesforce ecosystem management, business operations, vendor management, procurement, or related disciplines, with demonstrated success managing cross-functional stakeholder relationships and technology investments.
  • Experience working with enterprise SaaS applications and software licensing models, with the ability to evaluate utilization, costs, vendor commitments, and business value to support portfolio decisions.
  • Experience managing or supporting application lifecycle processes, including application onboarding, governance, enhancement planning, renewals, rationalization, and retirement.
  • Strong understanding of business capability mapping, portfolio governance frameworks, and operational processes that connect technology investments to measurable business outcomes.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Strong analytical, financial, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to synthesize information and present recommendations to both business and technical stakeholders.


Required Technical Skills
  • Salesforce platform knowledge, including familiarity with Salesforce applications, managed packages, integrations, and ecosystem governance.
  • Experience utilizing portfolio management, inventory management, reporting, or governance tools to maintain application and technology records.
  • Strong data analysis and reporting capabilities, including development of dashboards, metrics, and executive-level portfolio reporting.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting and visualization tools used to analyze application utilization, costs, and portfolio performance.
  • Ability to document application inventories, business capabilities, technology relationships, integration dependencies, and lifecycle status within governance repositories.

Pay Scale Information:

The U.S. base salary range for this position is $100,100.00 - $150,000.00 annually. *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual's education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations. Regular, fulltime non-sales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnion's annual bonus plan. Certain positions may be also eligible for long-term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
