Description
TEKsystems is seeking Desktop Deployment Technicians to support an expansion project. This individual will assist with the preparation, deployment, testing, and troubleshooting of end-user technology throughout a newly constructed clinical tower. The project includes deploying approximately 400+ devices and supporting a large-scale healthcare technology rollout. This is an excellent opportunity for IT professionals with hands-on deployment experience who enjoy project-based work and working within a team-oriented healthcare environment.

Successful contractors will work alongside the IT Field Operations team and receive guidance from dedicated onsite team leads. Responsibilities
Unbox, stage, and prepare desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, and peripheral devices for deployment. Image and configure computer systems according to standards. Label and inventory hardware assets prior to installation. Deploy workstations, monitors, printers, and label printers throughout the new facility. Perform basic troubleshooting and issue resolution during deployment activities. Validate device functionality and perform deployment testing.

Maintain accurate documentation and deployment tracking records. Follow established procedures and maintain attention to detail throughout the deployment process. Collaborate with Field Operations personnel and project leadership. Required Qualifications
1-3 years of desktop support, hardware deployment, or IT field services experience. Experience deploying PCs, monitors, printers, and related hardware. Basic troubleshooting skills in Windows environments. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Professional communication and customer service skills.

Ability to lift and move computer equipment as needed. Ability to work independently and as part of a team

This is a Contract position based out of Houston, TX. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
