Job Description

Spencer Rose is urgently seeking a Security Operations Centre (SOC) Analyst to join our Financial Services client in Yorkshire for a 6+month contract. £385-400 per day INSIDE IR35. ASAP Start. 3 days a week onsite. Strong likelihood of extension.

The role purpose:

Monitor, detect, and respond to security events generated by Claude Code usage. Develop and tune detection logic specific to AI workload threats.

Required Skills: 

  • 3+ years in a SOC or security monitoring role.
  • Proficiency with Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, or IBM QRadar.
  • Strong analytical and investigation skills.
  • Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK framework.
  • Understanding of API security and web traffic analysis.

Desirable Skills/Experience

  • Experience with AI/LLM technologies and understanding of prompt-based attack vectors.
  • Security+ or equivalent certification.
  • Experience with SOAR platforms (Palo Alto XSOAR, Splunk SOAR).

Interviews are taking place over the next 7 days with a view to have the team onboarded within August.
