We're looking for a Junior Data Scientist to help transform data into insights, dashboards, models, and convincing arguments.

More about the role:

  • Explore and analyse datasets to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Turn messy data into useful information
  • Create reports and dashboards that make life easier for our colleagues
  • Support the development of models and the automation of processes
  • Work with teams across the business to understand problems and develop solutions
  • Explain and document processes and insights in an engaging and understandable way
  • Stay up to date with developments in data science, AI, analytics and emerging technologies
Qualifications

More about the role:

  • Degree in Data Science, Maths, Statistics, Computer Scienceor a related discipline.
  • Hands on Data Analytics experience, ideally in a commercial environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Python and/or SQL and a good working knowledge of excel and basis statistical concepts.
  • Familiarity with data visualisation tools such as power BI or Tableau
  • A curious mindset and willingness to learn.

Nice to have:

  • Comfortable working with big data
  • Experience with Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn or similar libraries
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS
