About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical finance professional with 4-6 years of experience in accounting and finance operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in invoice processing, accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and cash flow management. The candidate should possess strong problem-solving skills and have a good understanding of ecommerce and D2C finance operations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Process outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Manage end-to-end invoice processing, including verifying, classifying, and recording invoices accurately.
  • Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including maintaining accounts payable records and ensuring timely payment processing.
  • Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted.
  • Verify and investigate discrepancies by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements.
  • Facilitate timely payment of invoices and coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve payment-related queries.
  • Prepare and maintain cash flow statements to support effective fund management and liquidity planning.
  • Prepare and maintain Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) and ensure timely resolution of unreconciled items.
  • Possess knowledge of export receipts, import payments, and related compliance requirements.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including ledger scrutiny and reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including TDS and GST.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy in finance operations.


Key Skills & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CA Inter/CMA Inter will be an added advantage.
  • Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
  • Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records.
  • Hands-on experience with Tally, ERP systems, and MS Excel.
  • Working knowledge of TDS, GST, and statutory compliance requirements.
  • Good understanding of cash flow management and bank reconciliation processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
