This employer is seeking a Senior Enterprise Applications Engineer to join their Enterprise Finance Technology team. This role is crucial in designing, building, and optimizing data architecture, pipelines, and enterprise applications to drive strategic decision-making across a large organization. The ideal candidate will blend deep data engineering expertise with strong business intelligence capabilities.

The Role

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows using Snowflake, AWS, dbt, and/or Informatica.
• Ensure data integrity through automated quality checks, regression testing, and anomaly monitoring.
• Independently plan, manage, and deliver small to medium-sized projects end-to-end.
• Support dashboard and reporting development using tools like Power BI and Tableau.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate development, data validation, and analysis workflows.
• Partner with finance and analytics teams to deliver viable data solutions and recommend process improvements.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 4+ years of experience in data engineering or architecture.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering, business intelligence, and/or enterprise analytics.
• Advanced SQL proficiency and experience with data integration tools (e.g., dbt, Informatica).
• Strong working experience with data modeling, schemas, and storage techniques within Snowflake.
• Experience in designing, developing, and implementing scalable data pipelines in cloud environments (AWS, Snowflake).
• Experience with ETL/ELT patterns, data warehousing concepts, and business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau).
